It's all about ENGAGEMENT!!
Hello,
hello!!
This week is
all about 🌟Engagement🌟. Basically, I’m going to talk ye through how to keep your
readers interested in your blogs and hopefully I’ll learn a thing or two from
it myself. Let’s get into it…
1. Target Audience
Know your audience and write to them. Research and get to know what they’re
into. For example, if your audience is teens, then incorporate a bit of slang
to keep the cool kids drawn in and keep it fresh😎.
2. Irresistible Titles
Make your title so intriguing that people can’t help but click on it. Even
use a bit of clickbait if needed.
Clickbait: The practice of writing sensational or misleading titles to
make people click on your content.
3. Digestible Word Count
This is something I’m sticking to myself (I think). Keep the blogs short
and snappy! Unfortunately, people these days have the attention span of a goldfish
(approx. 8 seconds). If people were to click into a blog and see 500+ words, I can
assure you they’d be clicking back out just as quick.
4. Clear Points
This kind of connects back to the whole attention span thing but your
points need to be clear, to the point, no waffle and skimmable content
honestly. Use bullet points, numbered points, or headings to separate out your work
and make it easy to read.
5. Upload Regularly
Lastly, upload regularly. If you want to improve engagement, through
likes and comments, publishing often is key. Get your name out there by uploading
up-to-date content and gain a following.
Just in
case I’ve left you wanting more feel free to click the link and watch this
short video on how to spice up headlines.

I hope this
was helpful in some way, I know I learned from my research😉.
Until next time,
Saoirse😁
PS. The above picture is an example of exactly what we don't want to happen when people read our blogs!
