Building CRM Knowledge and Earn Credentials
Hello!
This week’s
mission was to create an account with trailhead and complete three courses and
report on what we learned (kind of exciting). Through trailhead I can build CRM
(Customer Relationship Management) knowledge and earn credentials.
So, let’s look
at what courses I chose…
Effective
Emails: Quick Look
By doing
this module I learned how to send a business email. Key takes, actionable, clear,
and easy to read. Subject line should be a headline, informative but not too
informative. Also keep it concise with a structure of introduction, context,
and a call to action.
I thought
this module might be handy to do because I hate emails and never know if I’m
giving too much information and waffling (I think it’s safe to say I’ve been
waffling the whole time😬).
Sales
Role: Quick Look
The
definition of a ‘salesblazer’ is someone who strives to solve problems with the
best possible products and services. Salesblazers have technical skills, eg. Recruiting/hiring,
and soft skills, eg. relationship building. The different roles include business
development representatives, account executive, sales leader, sales operations,
and chief revenue officer. None of which sound appealing.
I picked
this module because I’m currently in a sales assistant role. Something I will
not be doing for the rest of my life (just want to stress that!) but thought it
might be interesting, but I was wrong.
Business
Analyst: Quick Look
A business
analyst guides businesses to improve processes and efficiency and is involved
in many activities. A couple of examples are facilitating solutions and
documenting requirements. I also learned what misconceptions are around the
role, such as being super technical.
I picked
this module because I didn’t know what a business analyst was to be honest. But
I can now confirm that I have no interest in being a business analyst.
Well, I hope
that was somewhat decent (probably my worst upload yet😓) and at least a small
bit enjoyable.
Until next
time,
Saoirse
