10 Reasons Why MNCs Chose Ireland
Hi there,
I’m back with another
blog!
Today I’ll be
looking into MNCs in Ireland and seeing what we have to offer them…
1.
Corporation
Tax
Ireland offers the lowest corporation tax in the EU at
12.5%, and companies can claim tax reliefs to lessen this amount even further! Although
countries have started complaining about this so, it will probably rise to 15%.
2.
Educated
Workforce
More people are progressing to third level education and
half of the population is under 35, guaranteeing new companies a young, qualified
workforce.
3.
Connectivity
Service providers have allowed Ireland to become a
highly connected country, with advanced broadband and telecom framework.
4.
IDA
The IDA offers support for incoming foreign investment,
as they provide consultancy services, for free, and help them in setting up.
5.
Quality
of Life
According to the IDA website, Ireland is ranked as one
of the best places to live regarding, satisfaction, income, education and health.
6.
The
English Language
English is the most widely spoken language in the
world and is the language of business and first language in Ireland. We are the
only EU country with our main language being business.
7.
Accessibility
Ireland is a highly accessible country, with connections
by sea and air, to anywhere internationally, and road and rail, connecting all
counties.
8.
Tax
Credit
Companies can claim a 25% tax credit for research and
development when engaging in qualifying activities.
9.
SARP
SARP provides relief for staff assigned from abroad. When companies are first starting off in Ireland, it offers relief from income tax on income earned by employees.
10. The Irish People
Lastly, I think Ireland is a multicultural, inclusive
society and I believe that the Irish are welcoming, friendly people, so why
wouldn’t people want to move here 😊.
I think it’s clear
to see that Ireland is perfect for MNCs and the above reasons explain why we
have so many already.
Well, that’s me
done for this week.
Until next time,
Saoirse
